farmhouse in pavia countryside

The restauration of the “Cascina Lorè” to be used as a boutique hotel , which plans to recover 1200 square meters of covered indoor and outdoor surfaces, is part of the wider feasibility study, elaborated by the De8 Architects of Bergamo, concerning the conversion into an hotel of the Castle Of Montalto Pavese and the 12 annexed farmhouses belonging to the same property. The stone building is completely stripped but keeps the outer casing with its intact architectural features. In the south side windows and doors are opened and a portion of green enters the building, defining the interior as a rustic abandoned to nature while a large double glazed glass encloses the internal spaces and enriches them with a striking look.
